IPL Going Strong
Yes, Everyone has been watching the IPL this summer. But its not been the same way it was last year. Many players are missing from the action , specailly Pakistani and Ausies. The last year's performers have failed miserably this time and there hasn't been the same scores and big hitting. South Africa is just not India I must say. Last Year's IPL was like beserk but this time things are a bit different. Matches are being played only on 6 grounds instead of 8 as compared to the last time. The worst thing is that on a single day , the two different matches are played on the same ground when it used to be a fun when action used to get shifted to an almost new place in last year's IPL.
The batting has miserably failed and the youngsters have found really tough to get going. The worst part was that the matches were many a time one sided when the team who batted second never seemed like chasing the even modest target of 120.
As compared to the last year's IPL where scores over 200 were always under a big threat and the result was very much unpredictable till the last ball being bowled. But this time leaving just a few games , the rest were just one sided and did not really showed up the excitement and level of what the IPL branding used to be.
Well, I really appreciate Mr. Lalit Modi to bring along this big a tournament and put it along in South Africa in such a short time and with such a huge fabrication.

Just spare a thought for the bowlers. Bowlers will always suffer in this format of the game.
South African Playing conditions have provided some sort of hope to the bowlers.
It has brought some level of equality between bat and ball.
Who says Low Scoring matches aren't exciting. There has to be a contest.
But yea South Africa cant match the kind of passion Indian Crowd generates during matches.
